Lord, how I love You

Lord, how I love You

A Poem by Donald Cole

Not sure of where I am going

Not sure of what will be

I open up my heart now

To see the real me

I'd hope that you were here now

I've been looking everywhere

Only when I let you in

Would I see that you were there

I'd walked so long alone now

Even though You were there

I was trying to get home now

I know how you care

For you are just a part of me

The part of me so true

Take the very heart of me

Lord, how I love You!!

Yes, these words are so true. He has been there the whole time, sometimes we just aren't aware of His presence but He never went anywhere. Isn't that beautiful to know?

I love this, Don, excellent writing.

Excellent Donald, a love and devotion to the Lord is some times, for some people a hard thing to do, but you did it nicely here in poetic verse you conveyed some great realizations made in doing so..

Nice read, nice write

Much adored..
