Choice of Life

Choice of Life

A Poem by dbooker

each time i pick,
to start a new path,
it becomes harder to find,
every path i go,
to finally be happy,
& not drown in sorrow.
they take advantage of my kindness,
if i go through the brightened sun glow.
I'm nothing more then a mere illusion,
if i go through the darkened moon shadows.
i feel like I'm fading,
when i go with the flow.
why must i go through this?
I'll never seem to know.
