Tree PoemA Poem by Sanobera poem about my overwhelming love for nature and birds :)This is my tree poem where I imagine I am a tree Oh, wouldn’t that be something? a tall shady Oak I might be or a Cherry blossom giving a glimpse of beauty to someone who might need it a Cashew tree would be nice or perhaps a fruiting Dogwood? I’d have hundreds of daily visitors birds, bees, butterflies, squirrels some birds, smaller than bees Oh how I’d enjoy having a rose-cheeked Parakeet brush against my leaves! Wouldn’t a Blue Jay resting on one of my branches make a pretty picture? I’d never, ever let them leave hungry If you were close by, you’d hear a Cuckoo calling in the pre-dawn silence and be filled with an ache that cannot be described you’d stare in complete awe at the sight of me shining like warm gold through the mist I'd be a host to picnics to poets, writers, travelers, lovers I'd listen to deep conversations and rainy days Seasons would come and go winds would blow, leaves would fall days would pass away like migratory birds but I’d be right here still a home to wings to ceaseless rain to beauty so deep, you could never bear it all alone to longings still a nurturer a faithful friend I'd be the one who never leaves.
