Each Time

Might read like a romantic poem...but actually wrote this in the spiritual sense.

Each time We part

it seems as though
there is a distance
of a thousand 
abysses
between Us

and each time 
We come together

it seems as though 
Our souls have come 
so close 

closer than a flower
to its fragrance

that we weep
the same tears

that it feels as though
I have held You
for a thousand years.

When you meet another person who seems to understand everything you do and say....even before you have said it....you are spiritually connected. If that person becomes a romantic interest, it is divine. Yes, it does seem as though some people have known us through other lives and will always be with us.
