WinglessA Poem by SanoberMy words lie wingless today scattered about the house no clouds envelope them today not even the ones bursting with a long summer evening’s luminescence that i swore were the most beautiful i’d ever seen even the rain-sparkled breeze at dawn fail to stir them their emptiness stretches forever like things said but never done no memories carry them in swirls of fragrant smoke no touches, no blushes warm them like lotus blossoms in the sun they lie heavy on the floor without song without substance gathering dusk and dust... and despondency and then, i feel You entering my mind like a breath of golden beams cascading relentlessly.. through me releasing my heart and words take off like a thousand flamingos.
