Moonlight on my mother's faceA Poem by SanoberYou have probably seen a moon drizzling its luminous liquor across the high and low seas a moon glowing like silver-gold fairies through the slightly damp leaves of an almond tree a moon over mountains and hillocks seeping into the roofs of small, humble homes over winter-sown dreams and landscapes a moon that sometimes looks like a mellowed sun pale and bloodless by noon a moon that rests in the quiet corners of a lover’s lips you might have danced in a moon-rain, too but, my friend have you ever seen a moon shining over another moon?
