Lilac DawnA Poem by SanoberCome, my dear, suffuse my skies... with your tender light, be the tug of a distant, lavender moon, the one I can feel, even... in my deepest slumber be the kiss in my hair, that no one sees, move...when I move, sigh, when I sigh... be that line from a poem, that I hold in my eyes, and gaze upon.... my vast home of horizon come tumbling down... with me, whenever I laugh be my wildest ambrosia... and purest heartache be the touch of far off, smoky mountain winds, that I yearn to feel scatter as a prayer escaping my lips, as orchids ... blooming in clouds, and stay, stay... forever, as my quiet song, in my lilac dawn.
