Great poem.
As a lovely flow from beginning to end.
I personally love the rain but like they say
"It can't rain all the time"
My favorite line is:
"you could sing a song with it, making the handsomest man fall in love, or kiss someone's forehead without ever disturbing their sleep..."
Well it did find its way into your poem and so eloquently too...this is so delicate, 'blanket a baby, grasp a peach without bruising' such amazing imagery here, this is like a soft sigh of a dream, a lullaby in poetry, just love this one Sanober, an elegant classic, going into my favorites toot sweet!
"a rain like melting pillows" oh, what a glorious line this is, Sanober! I am so glad this soft silky rain found its way into your poem. The imagery is stunning....kissing a loved one on the forehead while he or she sleeps, helping flowers that would otherwise be wilting, ending wars....oh if only such a rain existed! There is a dreamy magical quality to your words. Wonderful work, my friend.
