Fall Away

Fall Away

A Poem by bryanie

Immortal glass heart of mine

Fall away from me and shatter

Be it this pain or my death

This heart would choose the latter

You spat on the fragments

Ground them down into dust

And in this bittersweet epiphany

I find there was no love, only lust

And now I must walk away

Before you even realize I was here

We cannot save one another

Your finger cannot wipe away this tear

These walls are being rebuilt and

My heart is safe with chains and lock

Fall away from me and I’ll forget all

In dreams of you I will walk

The sky has turned black, love

As your skin matches the snow

Your blood has been stolen

With love I’ll say good bye and go

Wow! so powerful, yet so simple.I like the way you've expressed yourself. The word choice is fantastic!!!
It has a gret flow to it as it tell some sort of tragic love story.I enjoyed reading it!!!
