Wayfarer sunglasses

Wayfarer sunglasses

A Poem by sentimental~ galore

Wayfarer sunglasses, forest rich eyes squinting in the sunlight.

Hands in pockets, smile to the side.

Ray of sunshine, the reason for sentiment in life.

Taxi Driver, pause on the red light.

Climb over the seat, illegal crime.

No one saw because only we have eyes.

Five dollars a mile, I only want a ride.

You and me, a vacant road, beads of a summer cough.

Lemon tree in the backyard, toilet paper spread over the lawn.

Dreams and aspirations, you can be anything you want.

Memory and images, they will stay in my heart.

Author's Note

sentimental~ galore
This is pretty personal. So if its vague its because I am writing directly about a certain memory.
