Ability

I've titled this ability
because i love the word
i've written the words i've written so far
in hopes that i'll be heard
and i've smudged my glasses numerous times
so all bad things are blurred

i've the ability to gain it all
but i've seemed to misplace most things
like clothes and money and friends that care
and faith in human beings

my names synonymous with failure
but that hasn't stoped me yet
i plan to change the way things work
i aspire to be a threat

i've the ability to do all this
though i'm not sure i'll gain it all
heights do scare me shitless
but i'm prepared to take that fall
