Beauty and the Beast: Epilogue

Beauty and the Beast: Epilogue

A Poem by Sarah
"

And to the finish :)

"

As Belle watches in wonder

He transforms before her eyes

And from the ashes of the Beast

The prince from her dreams arise

They danced, until the dawn came

Marking the end of spring

But without the cold, warmth won’t be warmth

And to winter, they dance and sing

And now might be this tale’s end

But there’s more that I have thought

Why the prince was always so cruel

And what that cruelness has wrought

When the prince was small, his mother died

And his father turned cruel and cold

And because of this, turned on his son

His rage uncontrolled

You may also wonder why the people were turned

Into objects, when it wasn’t their fault

It’s when the King was cruel to his son

They did nothing to see it halt

All of you, please remember

That is fairytale is not only one

We all have our own great story

That has only just begun

Start from your heart, and flow on

That is the place your wind blows

For a story of love and hate

Can fit in a single rose

And now this finally marks the finish

Of a story we all comprehend

But really, this tale of our hearts

Will never truly end
