Magical MSN Ride

Magical MSN Ride

A Poem by Dave
"

Lost love that maybe never was but felt so real

"

I went on a journey,
A magical msn ride,
An in the strangest places,
A gem i did find,

Someone who seems to get me,
Crazy as i am,
A cutie with sweetness in her eyes,
And from her i cannot hide.

Bic runga played for us,
Us and us alone,
Across the distance we listened,
And together we sway-ed,

I saw into her cocoon,
Past the scars that toughness cannot hide,
An these things didnt bother me,
I didnt run or cry.

I saw a little of the real Jess,
The girl who cares and tries,
Through pain and darkness she survived,
With a beautiful heart inside.

Fate it was against us,
And the way through we couldnt see,
Miles an miles seperate us,
Too many for us to be.

An though our passion can't live through it,
And surely had to die,
Our love as best friends forever,
Makes my heart smile and shine,

I think of things that could be,
Of how it might have been,
If i could have been canadian,
Or her my suburban queen.

But through the pain and heartache,
An to my great surprise,
At least in her i've found someone,
I think i really liked.

I open my eyes,
From a lovely dream i had,
Maybe its time to realise,
I guess I had to wake sometime.
