If Tomorrow Never CameA Poem by AmberIf the sun failed to arise To brighten my ever-blue skies Leaving flowers to their demise And tomorrow never came Could you say all your goodbyes Live with failed attempts and lies No do-overs, no retries Would, then, you end your game? Could you give in to desire Run on water, leap through fire Let go of pain and ire Wake up and remember my name? Maybe you would love me then As the world came to an end As my scars began to mend As I released all my past shame. Maybe you would cherish me Your lost pearl from the sea Your most adoring devotee My soul you’d finally free If only tomorrow never came.

Writing is a preferable way to express what cannot always be explained. .. more..Writing
