The End

The End

A Poem by Amber

If tomorrow
Never came
If today was the last
Would you live
Free
For this moment
Forget about the past?

When the hour
Strikes midnight
And the earth falls
Into nothing
To eternal blackness
The end
Could you leap without looking
Into the unknown?
Could you forgive,
Forget
Ignore the hurt
The hate?
Smooth your jagged edges
Polish your jaded side?
Would you run
    Faster
Play
Harder
Laugh
Longer
Sing
Louder
Love
More?
Today is the end
This moment
The last.
