Lazuline PearlsA Poem by David W Moore IIIan exerpt from From the Midst of the Maelstrom © 2010 David W Moore III
Just when the first note begins,
the obsidian cowl nods, and it ends. Infinite reflection reveals nothing: no effervescent brook no dialating candescence no opus magnum just a note echoing hauntingly. Oh sing a song! Sing a song never begun. Only the echo remains. Lazuline pearls drop bounce and return.
The vacuum resonates reverberates searching longing yearning instruments at hand, trembling slightly. Oh sing a song! Sing a song never begun. Only the echo remains. The chromic rale and ursula tamed waiting anticipating humming thrumming the void tugging pulling to be filled. Oh sing a song! Sing a song never begun. Only the echo remains. Rejoined by the cosmic choir. The echo remains echo remains remains.
