Watching Love on the Balcony

By the warmth of your fire 

Do I feel bound to so retire

That which I have made so

keenly clear this day

By the light of presented torch

I do so so crouch on your front porch

and wait and watch and listen

to every word you say

By doing this I learn 

Why all the tears and screams that burn

You often find a way in which to 

Take you away 

It isn't right and it's unjust

In fact, I feel inclined to trust 

You when you allow your blades

of seething love to stay

So now it is that I must leave

Still, it's hard (for me) to believe

that this night was spent--

I wish the wind would still it from it's sway

were my favorite lines.
I really like the flow of this, the whole piece reads so well and it pulls the reader in from the first line. I didn't want to stop reading it and before I knew it the poem was over. This was an overall gorgeous piece. I loved reading it. Thank you for sharing. :)

Wow! I liked it a lot!Somehow I actually saw a balcony in my head with a couple.The female talking,while the male just listens and admires her beauty...Idk but thats what popped inside my head(: Good job!
