mediocrity

mediocrity

A Poem by Olatunbosun David-Rex

Thoughts on culture of a majority  of Persons.

Hypocritical minded people

They are actually clueless.

They just know little things about the bigger picture

They create, edit and re-define to suit their indigenous and personal beliefs

They criticize others for a show of rebellion to their self-set standards

As blind as bats in their own specialization

Mediocrity at its peak

At the apex of their minds, one can view the “little” stupidities created by their mistakes

Little foxes they say…can ruin one’s vine-yard.

But how can we change it………

Their minds are permanently locked

Like in chemistry…an irreversible reaction

Their minds are like ants in a shallow pool

Thinking that they are overwhelmed by great knowledge

Not knowing that the reason for such feeling is the meagerness of their minds
