The Rose on the Tor

The Rose on the Tor

A Poem by D. Pesek

Oh how she wishes she were that crimson red rose,

That dazzles the eyes and tickles the nose.

Beauty and danger, an amalgam of two,

Mystery is hidden within its warm hue.

She knows it holds secrets, and wants nothing more,

Than to discover the meaning of this rose on the tor.

Looking deeply can often sweep one away. A wonderfully short piece. Enigma. Love it. Bravo.
