I understand
Just take your time. I've hurt you and your tortured mind. And if you come, I'll be here waiting. There's no one else worth saving. So if you love me, please don't hate me. I've lost you and I'm slowly fading. If you hate me, please forgive me. I never meant to leave you bleeding. Now my carpet is stained with red. And you're hiding under my bed. A rush of wind, and then you're gone. I've forgotten where I belong. But still you whisper, still you listen, and though your words are often driven by hate and malice, I still will answer. You are my one and only cancer. So if you love me, please don't hate. I've lost you and I know your faking. I know you hate me, but please forgive me. I never meant to keep you bleeding for years. But now the music softly sways us. I think the people are afraid of us. And I can't blame them. I won't shame them. We are amazing. We are contagious. Please don't love me. You won't remember these words when you feel so much anger. But please don't hate me. Please don't berate me. You know I warned you. You know I told you... To please forgive me when I'm angry, and when I'm lost, in need of saving, you'll be my lighthouse. You'll be my spirit. You'll be my home, and still I fear it. My identity. You're my complexity. You're my defenses and my attacker. You are my captive, and my captor. I am lost without your arms wrapped around me. My identity.
