You Were Still Right As Usual

You Were Still Right As Usual

A Poem by Not here

Watch me cry
Watch me bleed
The wolves have come
On night they feed.
Let me run
But not too far.
I miss the way
You were my star.

We are too far gone.
We can't carry on.
This is not the way.
We should never stay.
I am too far gone.
Please don't carry on.
I am not the way.
I beg you to stay.

There is hope
And there is peace.
There is war.
There is release.
There is love
But we find none.
We are home
But we are gone.

We are too far away.
Never come to stay.
You will find a disease.
You will never be pleased.
Drink the poison if you wish.
It's the tastiest type of dish.
But don't expect to be free.
You will stay here with me.

Drink the poison I don't care.
There's no reason to go out there.
You can stay here with me.
You can never and always be
Free
