Meaning

​

words r different when i write them
full of emotions. i cant fight them
and when i do it seems to spite them
cause theyre different in what they say

melodies are something i cant give away
i wish you could hear them all today
but as soon as i write they start to fade to gray
cause theyre different in what they said

I love this short poem! Writing is a feat every time, but worth the struggle. Sometimes it feels as if we can't quite get the full extent of our feelings on paper but it's as close as we'll get to accurately expressing emotion! Well written

This poem I feel most poets can agree with. What is in our heads and hearts seems to come out flatter and duller then what they are inside. We just have to keep trying by writing for as long as we can. This piece really expresses what I feel often.
