She is

She's the path I've never known,

one I'll always walk alone.

She's the apple of my eye;

she's the blue in all the sky.

She's the flower that never dies.

She's the fighter who never cries.

She's my emotions never shown;

She's the skill I'll never hone.

She's a queen without a throne,

a constant walk in the unknown.

She's all of life's greatest highs,

a work of art best not revised.

She's the girl I tried to woo;

she's the girl I listened to.

She's the tear I feel inside,

and yet has all my joy supplied.

She's the melody of my song;

her smile makes me sing along.

And no matter how the tune may play,

the sun rises for her everyday.

a great quality in this poem is that it flows completely with the same idea, that you need her, are attached to her , if you will, and you express the same idea differently within each line.

haha yes it was shorter :) but ive been happier lately and my darker poems are normally longer. this was, obviously, not dark like those, but then again im feeling happier, so its a good thing i think

I really enjoyed reading this poem. I won't be as picky as Bear, though I can see his point of view. I should congratulate you on getting his praise for lines starting with same word as when I wrote a similar style of poem, he didn't agree with the formatting... I guess I was more on the "silly sounding" side of things.. ;-)
