She is

She is

A Poem by Not here

She's the path I've never known,
one I'll always walk alone.
She's the apple of my eye;
she's the blue in all the sky.

She's the flower that never dies.
She's the fighter who never cries.
She's my emotions never shown;
She's the skill I'll never hone.

She's a queen without a throne,
a constant walk in the unknown.
She's all of life's greatest highs,
a work of art best not revised.

She's the girl I tried to woo;
she's the girl I listened to.
She's the tear I feel inside,
and yet has all my joy supplied.

She's the melody of my song;
her smile makes me sing along.
And no matter how the tune may play,
the sun rises for her everyday.

Great use of repetition in your verse with a nice flow of words about a special someone.
Rhymes and smooth sounds
for the one you love.

david, this is such a sweet piece devoted to a young lady whom I HOPE knows you feel all of these things. Your rhyming skills are so much improved from before - - say 6-8 months ago - - back then the rhymes often felt forced, a struggle to put together...now it is all so smoothly choreographed and tight. Great write, friend. take care...dan

I was enchanted. As i finished reading a line I was excited to read/see the next. It flowed effortlessly and really touched me. I saw myself actually reading it out to someone special to me. But I am really jealous because I myself cannot write/do any poetry but I really like yours. This was a brilliant piece!
