What Is Life?

What Is Life?

A Poem by Ryan Henderson
"

This is just a little poem I am going to whip up real quick, just to see what I can do ;D

"
What is life?
Is it just a cruel game? A game in which we are the peices?
Or is it something more? Something brighter?
Is life only just a temporary plain of existance for mankind? Like a holding area until we pass on?
Or is life only one's perception of reality?
Is life the reality in which we are forced to beleive in? To live in?
What is life? The answer is: Life is whatever you want it to be.

Ask life "Whats up?" and it replies "You'll see"
It is uncertainty of this piece that I found most alluring, the human quest to piece together a meaning in or before time.
Great work! :)

Thanks for the review!
This is my favorite, the game of life and the purpose behind it, very philosophical and beautifully written short but with a deep message well done!

Thank you!
All the question you raised are perfect confusions of every life. I agree with your answer yes it is what we want it to be. Otherwise there is no use of our life beautifully written although many find no perfect answer to it. I have tried to write but get no more reviews to get it correct.

thank you for reviewing!
Also divine will and surprises that meet us wherever we be. I like the comparison to a 'cruel game in which we are the pieces'...there is no finality about it we hope and why? because it can be so glorious one day in contrast with another day...life is to breathe and walk about...is life freedom...sometimes we are not really living if our situation seems unsolvable that there is some element in our circumstance that cannot be resolved yet problematic...I ability to solve problems in spite of things which seem at that moment to be less than ideal motivate us in one direction or activity or interest/means of escape or future dreams or adventure when possible

The above line is true. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Whatever you want it to be?

I find it to be, rather, what society molds it in to.

Very interesting thought process you convey through this piece.
