TerraformA Poem by DaviDInspired by nature and "1957." Readers may discover multiple meanings and interpretations.Terraform
My body that was once untainted, is polluted synthetic and infested. My natural scent I once emitted, is masked by your foul emissions. I want to melt away, melt away.
Would I still die, if you, were not modified?
My humble cells that were all united, are broken divided and misguided. My skin I used to sense with, is wounded now from head to heel. I melt away, melt away.
Would we still die, if we, were not modified?
I’ve given now. I’ve melted now. I’ve lived now. © 2018 DaviDAuthor's Note
