chapter 1
the runnigng boy with a slight push a man moved out of the way because of a young boy, no older than 15, was running down the slippery wet pavement. Something seemed wrong with him since he stumbled every other step but never slowed down. He never showed any fear of falling, nor did he ever move his sight from a small house that had a wooden door with a small girl peering through s lightly open window. The rain was starting to fall on the street with a gentle touch that made a whisper as it hit. The little girl who was in a wheel chair wanted to go outside but her mother had made her promise to stay inside so she wouldn't get sick anymore. As the boy ran some men wondered what was wrong with him, he ran with such an urgency that it seemed as if a wild beast was rampaging behind him. As the boy ran through the slick cement his thoughts were in a tangle, his mind in one place. As he approached the small house a familiar face appeared between his eyes. He slowed down and stopped in front of this figure. This figure had green eyes that seemed to burrow deep in someone's soul, his dark hair complimented his mustache, with a tenderness in his eyes the boy recognized him as his personal Dr. The boy mustered out the word "hello," with a gentle smile the Dr said "hi Michael" the Dr noticed the redness and agitation Michael's eyes. His eyes shined with a deep ocean blue and were filled with traces of hate and agony, his light blonde hair was slightly touching his forehead that was filled with sweat. He wore a dress shirt which colors flourished as the sun hit his shirt. The Dr had said " Dont you remember me micheal my name is Dr. Cason" it took Michael a moment but he snapped back into reality and muttered "I'm sorry Dr. Cason I must leave." With an interest Dr. Cason asked "is everything ok Michael?" "i just finished checking in on your sister, she's going to be ok." with a smile Dr. Cason touched Michaels shoulder and at that moment Michael began to run toward the house with even more urgency. As he continued to run to his ultimate objective, his home, tears began to flow from his eyes and twinkled slowly to the ground as his speed began to pick up. As he approached his home he realized that his sister was peering out of the window, her eyes were filled with hope. she knew she cold never run, her life was to be stranded in a wheelchair until something could be done. She believed in the possibility of the Drs finding a cure for her vertebral lumbar fracture, her eyes showed so much hope and innocence that her brother envied her. " why does Samantha have hope it's not like she's going to be cured. No one is going to help her, like no ones gonna help me." Micael muttered as he ran toward the gate next to his home © 2012 davidaguilarAuthor's Note
