Four Wonderful Seasons

Each season has its own special moments :)

April showers, blooming May flowers

Crisp, fresh air and bright sunshine

Laundry flowing in the gentle breeze

Tress budding with pretty, white blossoms

Spring is here

 

Hot summer days, refreshing lemonade

Ice cold popsicles, while sitting on the sidewalk

Swimming in the local pool, and tanning in the sun

Summer nights with the top rolled down

Cruising the highways till late

 

Leaves are changing into vibrant colors

Red ones, orange ones, and yellow ones too

Cold air arrives and sweatshirts are zipped up

Fields are barren and the sun sets sooner now

Fall is upon us

 

The Christmas season is now arriving,

Santa is out and snowmen too

People are shopping for the perfect gifts

The days get dreary and the snow begins to fall

Winter is coming!

First I loved the color changing with each stanza, very eye catching. The descriptions you have of all 4 seasons, hits on them all. (You didn't pick a favorite and give it more attention. You kept them all equal) In my view point, that makes this poem a beautiful creation. Brings all 4 to living with only the descriptions you've wrote. Excellent job. (I really love the color change in the writing, captivates the eye)...and the tree pic is cool too :)
