Glass

Glass

A Poem by DasHerzWeint
"

A poem I wrote back in 2010.

"
A heart of glass,
Shining brilliantly.
Suddenly flickering,
Then goes out instantly.

Dark glass heart,
Empty and plain.
Beginning to slip,
But won't sustain.

The only hold,
To everything else,
Breaks away,
To be hurled.

Falling faster,
Flashing by.
Shattering glass,
Will instantly die.

I like this, I can see a glass heart falling and shattering into pieces. My only suggestion is to drop "glass" when saying Dark glass heart, I think it would flow smoother that way, but it is up to you.

Good Job
