Template for Writing a Marketing Case Study

There are several ways to write a marketing case study, although you should always include these important sections to it.

1. Title

A title is a crucial part of a case study as it depicts what results were achieved from the campaign. When writing about a success story, always consider to include the name of the company you chose as it builds up it credentials.

2. Introduction

It is always important to introduce your chosen organization fore-mostly in your case study, as it gives a brief history about your organization and its past success. It also sows the seeds of trust in the reader.

3. The Problem

Next, one should turn on to problems; it is important to address every difficulty that has been faced by the marketing campaign and also include some sentences conveying some points about each one of them.

4. Solution

After introducing the problems in the case study, you should move to the next step and solve them. Include a step-by-step detailed solution to every problem, to explain how did the company overcame them.

5. Results

Your result section will include how your solutions led to the success of your project. State what were your Key performance indicators(KPI’s) and also state some marketing analytics that shows your results. For example, Google analytic, number of back-links, traffic statistics etc.

6. Visuals

Visuals give a more appealing look to your case study. Never just focus on adding up numbers to it, try and give a different outlook to it. Include those visuals that brings out the results to life. For example charts, graphs, graphics, etc. Also, try to give monochromatic theme to your case study as it gives a more professional look to it.
