evolution or devolution?

I just had a thought just now and wrote a poem about it,let me know what you feel.

I wake up in the morning.
I take a look out of the window.
I see birds sharing and feeding food to their loved ones.

I get ready to go outside.
I open my door,I take a peek outside.
I see humans feed on the pride of the others among them.
