A Poem by heather

Well, angel. What was it you wanted this time? Your dime a dozen lover leaves you hangin' on the line. When what you need's not what you think, are you prepared to reap what you sow? Against my better judgment however, I thought that you should know. A pretty face that sheds a tear is like a broken flower. A thing of beauty destitute in nature's cruelest hour. If our souls should join as one, all would become clear. For when you hurt, I feel it too. I even know your fears. But I'll hold my tongue until I choke, so you won't have to listen. Said you're goin' out to get your love.. the fool's always forgiven. Run to him, go on and let your heart go all to waste. & when you hurt, I'll feel it too - a love that's put to shame.

I liked it as it is.

Perhaps if you aren't happy with it you could re-word but i liked it.

Very good poem! Probably some rewording is in order, but it's already very good! Keep writing!
