When It All Changed

I believe that you are too good for me,

I believe that we would never ever be,

But when you hugged me so tightly,

I heard your heartbeat beating out for me.

And when you fell asleep that night,

And when i fell asleep too,

I don't know how it happened,

I don't know if it's true,

But i heard you in your dreams,

Screaming out 'Please don't hurt me',

Were you talking about someone else?

Or were you talking about me. 

But still i believe that you are too good for me,

I believe that we would never ever be,

But when you hugged me so tightly,

I heard your heartbeat beating out for me. 

I woke up the next morning,

I looked and saw a photo of you,

I don't know if it was a sign,

I still didn't know if it was true,

And then you began to ring,

I was glad that it was you,

I just hoped that you would say,

It was true and i love you.

Now i question if you are too good for me,

I question if we would never ever be,

Because when you hugged me so tightly,

And when i heard your heartbeat beating out for me,

That's when it all changed.
