I feel like my love is going to waste,

Because you are nothing more than a pretty face,

That smile of yours gets you anything you want,

Only ever looking for fun but really what is the point?

Tell me what is the point?

You said the words that i needed to hear,

You held me close in my times of fear,

You said to me that you wanted more,

But you changed your mind, you kicked me out the door,

Left me crying on the corner of the street,

In the exact place where a year ago we would meet,

Heartbroken and never the same after that,

Never ever the same after that. 

I had hoped that you would have had a beautiful soul,

One that i could adore and the one i could hold,

But i then soon quickly changed my mind about you,

You lie, you lead people on, is there anything real about you?

This is yet another beautiful write from you! All of your poems could easily be changed a little and then turned into songs, they're so beautiful and have such a nice rhythm. I love this poem, because of the message it has. All these girls that have nothing to them, except for a pretty face, look inviting and attractive, but then you learn that they aren't pretty on the inside.. Which is what really counts. Beautiful write.

Some girls think looks will get them everything in life, which obviously is not the case. They are the true heart breakers because they know everyone wants them and if they can have then, then they have control over them. The song "Pretty on the Outside" by Bullet For My Valentine really sums this up. Give it a listen sometime and see what you think. Cause that's how I picture some girls nowadays, just pretty on the outside and then they're demons on the inside.

Deception and disappointment are valid themes for poetry and you capture them both in this work. The stanza structure confuses me a bit but the theme comes across well and it is an enjoyable read.
