We're Good Together

This is a song i wrote for my ex when we were together. It is about the first day we met. I hope you enjoy it.

I want to say that i love you too,
I want you to say we're good together,
And that you always knew,
Cause i dream of having our first kiss,
Underneath the mistletoe,
And we are in a special place,
A place where no-one will know,
Then we can have our happy ever after,
And live our lives however we can,
You can be my only women,
I can be your only man,
You can be my only women,
I can be your only man.

VERSE 1
It was a cold and windy day and i saw you standing there,
You looked so god damn beautiful as the wind blew through your hair,
You wore a denim jacket and a these of black designer jeans,
You smiled at me and it looked like a ray of bright sun beams,
I knew that when i saw you it was just like love at first sight,
Then the cold and windy day turned to heat with a bright light.

VERSE 2
We started to walk towards the run down bus stop,
I remember feeling like i was taking a great big hop,
We sat and talked and had a laugh and everything was great,
I had not only found a lover but i had found a best mate,
I showed you a picture of my new born nephew,
Then i realised that you are a perfect girl of the many few.

VERSE 3
We went to the pictures and ate popcorn and ice cream,
And as the scary bits came on we jumped but didn't scream,
I kept looking at you and trying to help myself understand,
How i was falling for you and how i just wanted to hold your hand,
And when the movie finished we stood up and left the place,
And as we left i had this great big smile on my face.

We got the bus home and we were joking with eachother,
I kept wondering to myself if we would ever end up together,
Then came the final stop and you had to wait for your bus to arrive,
And i couldn't remember a time when i felt so much alive,
Then your bus had came and you gave me a hug goodbye,
Secretely i never wanted you to leave and you coulf of seen it in my eye.

Now we are together and everything is perfect,
You have made me a happier man,
I promise with all my heart i will do all i can,
To make you happy,
We have the best conversattions,
You make me laugh and you make me smile,
Thankyou for curing the pain that had been here for a while,
That had been here for a while.

Nice story and well described. I would like to see a better economy of words to make the description but the point got across and was enjoyable to read.
