Waiting

This is different than my other stuff. It explains how i have felt and it relates to other people that i know. Maybe it relates to you? I hope that you like it.

I know how it feels. To be alone; to be scared; to feel like the only person in the world hurting,

That feeling is a lie,

There are others out there, waiting for the day when they can find the strength to stand back up;

Waiting for the courage to move on from the things that are keeping them down;

Waiting for the day they can smile again.

And if they wait, if they wait just one more day,

If they can make it through these tough times,

Then somebody will come along and make everything okay again,

All we need in life is somebody who needs us back;

Somebody to make it all better and we all just need a little help,

Help to overcome our fears;

All we need is that one thing,

All we need.. is you,

Your love;

Your heart;

Your warmth;

All we need is to feel alive again.

This has a lot of strong emotion in it. I thought the second line was the most powerful, its straight to the point and makes the rest of the poem shine!

Ah yes, I can relate to this. Even though the one I want, doesn't reciprocate those feels, maybe I'll find someone else, who will make me feel alive?
