Moon And Back

I am aware this isn't one of my best pieces. This is one of the first things i had ever wrote about four years ago. However i hope you still like it.

I have no idea what you are doing to me but it feels like i am flying,

And i can't come back down to earth no matter how hard it is i'm trying,

It feels like i am on a high but way higher than the sky,

And i feel so amazing that i can't even cry,

Flying through the clouds and right up to the moon,

Flying up up up and away just like a helium balloon,

Then right around the world and around the galaxy,

Right up to your window so that you can see.

I wanna fly you to the moon and back,

Then right back there again,

And protect you will all of my heart,

Like Superman does with Lois Lane,

And i will be your light in the dark,

I will be that glow you will never forget,

And i would even die for you,

Like Romeo does for Juliet,

And we will be the best couple,

And we will write our own destiny and i won't leave,

But we won't end in disaster,

Just like Adam and Eve. 

Yeah i used to be right at the top but now i am in the basement,

And i want to know how you took so quick to find a replacement?

While i am sinker lower and lower just like the Titanic,

And everytime i see you i then begin to panic,

I wonder what he does that i can't do,

Does he love you more than i loved you?

I am not ready to let go,

And i just want to let you know.

Love is great when you first fall in love,

It feels like a special gift handed from above,

Then when it ends it feels like the world is dying,

The tears come and then you can't stop crying,

Then you fall back on love again to cure your broken heart,

But all that happens again when you both break it apart.
