Suicide Is A Lie 🙏🏻😇🙌🏻

Suicide Is A Lie 🙏🏻😇🙌🏻

A Poem by Darren K. Jackson
"

It’s not what you think it really is

"
Many have contemplated,
while many others have never tried
Many others have attempted,
while many others have died

Many people just don’t understand,
what you feel inside deep within
It’s very hard to express in words,
because you have no idea where to begin

There are just so many days,
that we really just cannot cope
Then there are so many days,
that all we really have is hope

All of the feelings of sadness,
and the feelings of fear,
All of feelings of doubt,
and of uncertainty appear

Holding on tight, sometimes for dear life,
and the feelings of being all alone,
The feelings as if no one really cares,
and the feelings that you’re all on your own

You have no one else to turn to,
and you have nowhere else to go
You have no where else to run and hide,
and you have no one else who cares to know

The truth is that these are all lies,
that many of us have been told
For having faith, hope, and trust in Him
our lives will begin to make sense and unfold

It’s always in the trials and times like these,
that we must learn to trust Jesus most
Because living life is just simply a test,
to test our trust and belief in the Holy Ghost

Just know that no matter what happens,
God will always be by your side,
Once you decide to give it all to Him,
His arms will always be held open wide

His love for you is unlike any other,
and He gives us no more than we can bear
So learn to simply let go and let God,
so He can show you just how much He does care

Beautiful. May I write a poem for you?

What an affront to those who've died
In other ways, is suicide.
To those who never wanted death,
Who struggled for just one more breath.

It seems so wrong for one to just
Trample God's gift, LIFE, in the dust.
If only they could realize
How precious they are, in God's eyes.

Shorter, but I mean it with all my heart.
Peace be with you.

I’ve suffered from MDD since 2005, and so I know a lot about suicide, as I have experienced it first hand. All of the poems are written due to personal experiences in my own life, in hopes that they might help or inspire others about God.

THis is beautiful really is thanks for sharing
But what if one has a mental illness scizophrenia and is a christian and suicides.
what then? what are your thoughts on that that she cannot live like this anymore
that its too painful to remember the way she was or has losther way with God
what then
there are lots of grey areas no black and white all the time. However i enjoyed your poem thanks
