Pray for the Fruits of the Spirit,
in order to live your life right
Pray to God before you sleep,
each and every night

Pray for Joy,
and pray for Love
Pray for Peace,
from Heaven above

Pray for Patience,
and pray for Kindness too
Pray for Goodness,
and Faithfulness bold and new

Pray for Gentleness,
and pray for Compassion too
Pray for Wisdom,
and pray for Self Control anew

Pray for Mercy,
and pray for Grace
Pray for Strength,
to finish life's journey and race

A prayer for you,
and a prayer for me
Our hearts and our souls,
forever Yours will be
