Expresses the frustration of unrecognised talent

Like a hard crystalline wall, touched for the first time,

By the first sunbeams from a dawning, frosty, winter's sun.

Tiny rivulets of iridescence are released, competing,

To be noticed by any who might observe.

That is how the inventions of a creative mind,

Hunger to seek out a sentient entity,

That will receive and analyse the true meaning of their worth.

Mostly, the spectral sparkles pass unnoticed, diluted and diminished

do you know the mind is a creepy thing to play with... but it's also a place for something far more vast and beautiful... I love to swim in my thoughts... yet it's tiring of the endless negativity... but then agian i follow the light... this is really facinating write...

We all prolly feel this lol. I loved the Image of this crystal wall, I can feel Nerve patterns squirming in it. My only gripe as I read it was the re-use of the word "first" in the second line, but this was a neat Image and a good poem

I am not at heart a serious writer of poems, when I do the process is very fast, a flow of thoughts and words. I tend to edit as little as possible which means there will be many flaws, but we are all flawed in some way.

I really liked it, I thought the vibrant and ambient well described imagery set up great metaphors for the overall meaning of the poem. Also you have a very good vocabulary and quite some linguistic skill.

In my own mind I see the castle, and those beyond it's limits, shamed and unknown. Even from outside they can see beauty, but cannot enter into that world, cannot truly admire and be admired.
