What now no longer is

Sweet melody,

That you carried with you.

Sweet sour love,

That you shared with me.

Sweet scent,

That I will never forget.

Sweet is the sun,

That shines upon your skin.

Sweet is the moon,

That takes me away to sleep.

Sweet was our love,

Sweet it could have always been.

Sweet was all,

That now no longer is.

This is pretty profound honestly. It doesn't even matter if we truly figured it sweet in the moment because the past is always romantic to us. It's a good thing to keep in mind.

so painful but the poem is full of metaphors that carry out a sweet message but the last line is the ironic twist to the poem it speaks of pain.
