How everything changed

I was fine

Everything was fine

And then almost suddenly I felt myself falling apart

I watched familiar places change 

I saw how friends became strangers

Feeling how old memories started to blur 

Doubt now starting to surface 

Now questioning everything

The voices in my head louder now than ever before

Impossible to ignore 

I watched carefully how a world I knew so well, expired

Everything now covered by hells fire

Waiting patiently for the unstoppable end 

Wishing desperately for time to stop 

Wanting to catch my breathe 

Trying to remember the rights and wrongs

While seeing how everything changed

it is a sad poem, there is the waiting for the end to come, but have to accept it is part of one's life but will it be more bearable if there are no doubts, that you know the wait is over and you have served your purpose? i just wish that if my time will come there will be tangible signs for me to see and know that my time has come. this is only my interpretation of the poem.
