Grim Endurance

Ignorance is waht plagues the mind

Understanding you no longer find

A deeply wept song of sorrow

Just goes on until tomorrow

 

Each day another lifetime

Another night of loneliness

Unable to bear abandonment

Hopeing it only lasts a while

 

Breathlessly looking into the moon

Wishing it wouldn't leave so soon

Unforgettable saddness in the water

Days like this only keep getting longer
