Chapter 3-FayA Chapter by Dark ReaperFay opened the door to see two gaurd's holding the man down and torturing the man in the bed. The man's screams began to die as he passed out. "Father!" Her father turned to see her. The gaurds turned as well. All with looks of confusion. "Stop this, it isn't right!" Fay yelled. "Daughter leave us..." the King ordered. "No!" "FAY NOW!" "WOULD MOTHER WANT THIS?!" The king paused and his eyes fell. The gaurd's went rigid. They knew that Fay had won the argument with just that sentence. "No...she wouldn't..." the king said sadly. He signalled for the gaurd's to follow him as he walked toward the door. The king turned to look at his daughter. "I'm sorry..." Fay's heart sank so deep, she immediately felt bad for what she had said. But before she could apologise the King left the room closing the door behind him. Fay looked to see the man laying on the bed with a calm face. Even though several slashes and burns covered his body. Blood was all over his chest and face. His long black hair was wet with both blood and sweat. His face red with pain, or was that a smile that she just saw? Fay held her hands out over the man's chest. Blue light shined around her hands. The man smiled as the painful process of re-sealing the wounds began. This is supposed to be a painful process... As the cuts healed she began her work on the burns. She heard the door open slowly. Heavy footsteps made her turn to see her gaurd, Blake. He was holdind moist towels in his arms. As well as a new set of clothes for the man. "Thank you Blake." Fay said, as Blake lay the towels on the night stand. "Your welcome..." Blake paused, "Why ARE you helping the demon spawn?" "Because he doesn't feel like demon spawn." Fay answered briskly. Bowing, Blake exited the room closing the door behind him. The last of the cuts and burns healed and vanished as she turned toward the towels. She grasped the towels and pulled them to her. She grabbed one of them and began to clear the blood off his face. When it's clean...he doesn't look half bad... She shook herself and tossed the bloody towel aside and grabbed another one. The wet blood was easy, the dry blood was a challenge but doable. As the blood began to clear and after two more towels, she began to notice a strange marking on his chest above his heart. It was a red burn in the shape of a skull. No matter how much she tried to heal it it wouldn't go away. She placed her hand on it and rubbed it. Every time she touched it the man would shiver. If she applied pressure to it the man would go pale. Deciding to stop touching the burn, she turned to the new pair of clothes. Wait... She saw a note on the clothes. Have fun with the struggle! -Blake Fay looked back at the man and blushed. "Oh you are gonna owe me big time who ever you are." Fay said to herself as she untied the man's legs. © 2016 Dark Reaper |
