Time is up my friend

Hurry up this is the end

Exactly as I predicted

 

Shameless and cryptic

Hanging on my very last word

Action, fiction, blood on my sword

Resting peacefully in a pillow of bliss

Perhaps its time to go over Death’s list

Eccentric questions seal my fate

Sorry you are the weakest link

Time for your consolation prize, come on brain think

 

Lies surround us in life

I never loved you anyways

Victims of your own circumstance

Every time you fail, you never take another chance

Suck it up kid its just another day, time to wake up and play

I've never been a fan of poems inspired by songs, but yours is different. It's actually its own poem rather than what I usually call a "parody". lol I won't lie, though the song that inspired this poem happens to be one of my favorites. ^^

I think it's great! It's got a nice flow to it, and the material of Death and the messages of "Move Along" [wink wink] you've got here are great! It's very sinister and all too true. lol "Suck it up" ... nice way to get someone to listen.

Great job with this! I sincerely enjoyed reading it. :)
