Light

Light

A Poem by Mary

Just when darkness has overcome me,
And it seems there is no beauty,
An inner, radiant light flares.
This forbidden, corrupted darkness despairs.
The light shares its welcome and grace,
Filling up what was once dark space.
New hope begins to arise,
Glistening quite similar to a sunrise.
This light defeated my internal storm,
Bringing the truth to transform.
The shrieks of darkness have faded,
My soul no longer shaded.
The light's flicker is now ablaze,
To stay with me all of my days.

Such an outstanding lines. Light is what we seek even we step in darkness in such a long time we can find the light at the end. Thanks for sharing this brilliant poem. :)
