![]() [untitled]A Chapter by skylor
Chapter three “excuse me?” the librarian looked up at him from rimed glasses. “do you have any books on the occult, or book of shadows?” he asked, Skylor shrunk under the librarians piercing gaze. “as a matter of fact we do, we have a huge selection of spell books and all…” she trailed off closing her book. “can you show me them?” he asked politely, and they walked down the isle in silence. “mrs. Ambrem, I can show show him the books,” Kevin had appeared from no where. “no ah-she can.” skylor objected glaring at Kevin showing all his anger in just one glance. “nonsense,” Kevin paused to smile charmingly, “she’s old, let her get back to her novel. By the way I left you a present.” he called to mrs. Ambrem as she walked away from the two. “now, what are looking for, I think you should go for that book of shadows at the top. Its full of spells, breaking curses and such. Especially cursing demons, seen any of those yet.” although he was really annoying, he dazzled skylor to the point of almost flirting. But he wouldn’t give this smug little prat what he wanted, instead he would focus all his energy on getting the book he couldn’t reach. “you could always try motioning with your hand…” he motioned with his hand and the book fell into skylors hands. “your welcome by the way.” “I thought telekinesis was my power,” skylor said darkly, his voice going lower then it had before. “well it actually is, just I can do miner things when say you could move a city if you were pissed off enough.” Kevin explained reaching over and touching skylors face gently with his fingers. Skylor shivered but didn’t break eye contact. * The moon rose up from beyond the misty clouds and Skylor looked longingly at it, wishing that none of this was happening to him. But hey, it was pretty amazing. “cursing demons,” he said silently, his lips moving slowly. “demons are only vulnerable to the powers of the chosen ones, their curses once set every demon in one mile radius exploding into hell, so the power of “three” which is only part true do to the fact that there is a fourth chosen only he is never relevant enough to be awoken.” Skylor stopped then looked up at the rising moon, he narrowed his eyes and tried to focus on the book of shadows he had gotten out with Kevin’s account. “demons hear now the words of the chosen’, your evil I conjure forth, with this chant I summon you to come onto me-” he stopped, nu-uh he wasn’t going to summon some random demon, that was a ditzy blond move. Kyle was the first to notice the complexion spell Skylor had done the previous night, his face was spotless and not even oily like it had been. Now it was completely clear of any blemish, he smiled brightly at Kyle. “hey.” he said taking a seat. “if I were you, I wouldn’t start doing magik obsessively, how many spells did you do last night?” Kyle asked looking into skylors eyes. “oh-a few, like eight.” Skylor said honestly. Thanks to magik he looked hot! Like smoking hot, even to some of the guys he had passed by in the hallway. “I also did a confidence spell, it worked wonders.” Skylor confirmed kyles suspicion, with a grin. “how did that work out?” Kyle didn’t really care to know, but hey why be rude to someone you have a sort-of a-crush on? “it worked wonders.” Skylor grinned attractively, then turned to the board and started watching for Kevin…. © 2009 skylor |
