Open your Eyes

Can you not see

What I see?

The perfect dark siren

so needful of love

a splash of pink hair

eyes rimmed with coal

You smile it slips

your lips falter

Cold liquid flows down your throat

burning a path of destruction

The pain that is buried beneath layers of flesh and bone

If you were to unearth it from its tomb

The truth would leave you bloodied and bruised

Open your eyes

Can you not see
