As I lifted my shaking hands from the red head's lifeless body. She was dead, there was no pulse, no heartbeat. I tried not sob as I slowly walked around the room. Where was I ? That sick freak must have brought me here. He was probably going to come back here and finish me off. I frantically searched for an exit. I was not going to die in this dark, discusting place. I slowly sank to the ground, sobbing into my hands. There was no way out of this hell hole, I was a trapped lab rat waiting on the scientist to come poke and prod me some more. As I lay crying on the dirty floor, my ears dedected a sound. A hideous screaching, like a teacher raking her hands against a dusty chalkboard. I looked up in time to see a small opening begin to form on one of the walls. Oh my god, he was back! I was going to die! There was only one place my befuddled brain could think to hide, and the thought alone made bile rise up into my throat. But I had no other choice. I jumped up from the floor and walked towards the stone coffin. I scramble into the coffin and slipped beneath the redhead's cold, corpse. Thankfully the girl had been wearing a long, flowy dress. Maybe the folds would cover the parts of me that stuck out from beneath her body. I held my breath as a person stepped into the mosiilium. The foot steps moved slowly around the room and I tried to keep a scream from crawling its way out of my throat. I tired to keep my body fom shaking as the footsteps continuously wandered around the room. Suddenly the footsteps got closer to the coffin and I could feel hysterical laughter trying to escape from my lungs. I could hear the intruder pulling big gulps of air into his lungs. It sounded as if he was sniffing for my scent, but that was not possible! People can not smell that well, can they? I once agian fought a bit of hysteric laughter as I imagined the freak on the ground sniffing my scent like a blood hound. I bit my lip and shut my eyes tightly as I heard the foosteps get closer to my temporary hiding place. As the footsteps came to a disturbing stop, I silently prayed to a God who I had never before believed in. As the redhead's body was pulled off of me I prayed with the fever of a Religous Zelat. "If yuo are going to kill me then just get it over with, because frankly I am tired and I am not in the mood for this s**t" I yelled trying not to let my voice shake. "I am not here to kill you, I am here to save you, now open your eyes and seize with this violent yelling." "I opened my eyes to see the most gorgeous man that had ever graced me with his prescence . Why are all the hot men of the world gay, dead, married, or crazy? Life is just not fair! "I am Dante and I am here to help you" the man said as he picked me up as if I was a Barbie doll, and not a very volumptuous twenty year old. "Hey quit trying ot cop a feel, and put me down" I said hotily. "As you wish" Dante said dropping me to the floor. "Ow" I screeched as I stood and rubbed my sore backside. "Well you wanted me to put you down!" Dante said laughing "Whatever I said slowly backing up. I know that I am supposed to be afraid of this guy, but for some reason I felt safe when he had held me in his arms. I am definitlely going into shock. "Who are you and why am I here, and what happened to that poor girl over there?" "A Rogue attacked you and then brought you here, the girl will be fine in a couple of hours, and I am a True warrior. I slayed the Rogue and then I followed his scent to this mosilium. "What in the hell is a Rogue and a True warrior?" "I will explain later now we must leave." "I am not going anywhere with you" I said moving towards the opening. "You must seek shelter are you will die." "Why would i die?" "You are a True One and you can not tolerate the sun exposure." "oh you are so full of s**t" I yelled hysterically. This guy was really crazy! "Fine you do not have to believe me, place your hand on your chest. "Fine" I said quickly slapping my hand to my annoyingly large chest. "What the hell do I do now?" "Refrain from yelling and listen" Dante said as he leaned against an oppisite wall. I began to snap off a smart-a*s remark when I finally found what Dante was trying to show me. I frantically moved my hand around the left side of my chest but it wasn't there! My heart beat was non existent, tears began to stream down my face as I felt nothing. There was nothing but utter, terrifying silence.
