Hope

Hope

A Poem by Krithika

Hopes up high, losing by

Feeling lost

A century old

Somewhere there a light burning up

Letting me through

As I pass,

The light blazes up

My dreams, my passion

My goals, my future

Right in front of my eyes,

As I try to reach it

Darkness surrounds me

As the light fades away all around me

My hope slowly fading away just like the light

Darkness in my heart,

As it contracts and expands

Darkness in my limbs

Not a function

Darkness spreading through my mind

As I try to find a tiny bit of light

Just to find myself

The darkness weaves into me as the seconds tick by

Just like the webs that the spiders weave

A handy work with an effort

As I try to pass through each strand of the web

Trying to find a spot of light

My hands trying to reach out to it as I finally spot one

But still stuck in the maze of web

Words surrounded me,

Words of encouragement,

Whispering in my ear.

I try best to reach it

And finally touch it,

It glows out like a straight

Burning like a sun

goes up as high as the universe can.

And I finally find myself here,

Wishes and dreams

Finding its way into my heart,

But it shatters as the

Words of discouragement follow through,

It leaves out the one thing still hold on to hope.

Many people in the this world hve lost hope, to which they never see tomorrow. Even when your tired of trying atleast believe that somewhere in the future you can achieve your goal.
